Quick Project that popped up ~ Starlet A reg

I bought this starlet off a worker of mine. Rusty in places and needed some love ~ this project shows alittle bit about a different side of work that we can do.
First of all i started by replacing some completly dead panels, put a new door on one side and a new front wings.
The rear arches were completly rotten so we removed the old standard arches, cut the old front wings up, and made new wider rear arches for the back. This has now made the wheels sit in a legal position as they no longer stick out futher than the arches.

The next step was to remove all lights, mirrors and trims so it was ready to go to the painters. Also all interior removed in the back so it was ready to come back and have a custom roll cage fitted

The starlet is now back at the garage (mnm engineering) and having all its lights and parts put back on it. Undersealed the bottom of the car to prevent rust. And then carry on with the rest of the car

                                    Back From the Painters

After getting it back from the painters, i refurbed the wheels myself, finish welding a few hole unerneath, undersealed it up. Fitted all removed panels / lights / trimming. And gave it a wash.

It then headed out for its first meet at bluewater on the 26th Feburary 2011. But unfortunatly could not find my sides lights, misplaced them some were, which was annoying for its first appearance out.
